MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING OF SIBLE HEDINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT 75 SWAN STREET, SIBLE HEDINGHAM ON FRIDAY, 8TH MAY 2009 AT 4.30 PM

Apologies for absence
None.

Declarations of interest
Mrs. G. Massey declared a personal interest as a Governor of Hedingham School in connection with the ECC planning application relating to the school. No other interests were declared.

Minutes of previous meeting
The minutes of the previous Planning Committee Meeting held on 17th April 2009, having been previously circulated, were taken as read, were confirmed and duly signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

Matters arising from those minutes
There were no matters arising.

Public Comment
There was no public comment.

6. Planning Applications
The following planning applications were considered:
09/00443/FUL and 09/00444/LBC – Bungalow rear of 13 Church Street – Erection of side extension – no objection.
09/00290/FUL – 135 Swan Street – Erection of 1 no. two storey dwelling at front of site and 3 no. two storey terraced dwellings at rear of 135 Swan Street – no objection.
09/00510/LBC – 37 Swan Street – Reduction in size of window opening – no objection
09/00521/FUL & 09/00522/LBC – Primrose Cottage, 1 School Road – Erection of detached single bay garage and adjacent store – (Councillors had visited site) - no objection

Planning Application from Essex County Council
The following planning application was considered:
CC/BTE/31/09 – Hedingham School, Yeldham Road - Proposed erection of a three storey enclosed lift to the western elevation of the existing science block and the construction of a new access ramp with canopy to comply with the regulations as set out in the DDA 2004 – no objection

8.
Premdor
The Chairman very briefly reported upon a meeting with Planning Policy and Landscape Officers of BDC on 8th May 2009. Two draft master plans identifying options for proposed land uses were considered and discussed. BDC will respond to Premdor and the Primary Care Trust’s professional advisers and copy in the Parish Council.

Former Tanner’s Dairy and other development sites
The Planning Policy Officers of BDC had updated SHPC and the current situation was noted.

Date of next Planning Committee meeting
The next Planning Committee meeting was left for the Chairman and Clerk to arrange on a date to be fixed on a Friday afternoon at 4.30pm in Parish Council Office, 75 Swan Street, Sible Hedingham.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 4.45pm.
