Apologies for absence
Apologies for absence were received from Cllr. R. Green.
Declarations of interest
Miss. C. Cannell declared an interest in connection with the application relating to felling a sycamore tree in the Churchyard, as the applicant’s agent is a friend.
3. Minutes of previous meeting
The minutes of the previous Planning Committee Meeting held on 16th January 2009, having been previously circulated, were taken as read, were confirmed and duly signed by the Chairman as a correct record.
Matters arising from those minutes
There were no matters arising.

There was no public comment.
6. Planning Applications
The following planning applications were considered:
09/00019/TPOCON – St. Peter’s Churchyard – Fell one sycamore tree – no objection.
09/00052/FUL – 8 High Street Green – Erection of two storey side extension and single storey rear extension – councillors had visited the site and considered that there was ample space between the houses and if size of proposed development is within permitted development - no objection.
09/00057/FUL – 95 Swan Street – Proposed loft conversion with two dormer windows to rear elevation – no objection.
7. Forest Homecare, 61 Alderford Street
The Chairman reported that BDC Planning Committee would consider the application for change of use of land for overflow parking at 61 Alderford Street on 17th February 2009.
The Officers had apparently recommended granting approval. It was resolved that Mrs. J. Beavis represents the Parish Council at the meeting.
Weekly lists of planning applications and decisions
The Clerk reminded Councillors that a letter had been received from BDC asking for comments upon their proposal to dispense with hard copies of weekly lists of planning applications and decisions, which they intend to send by email only. It was resolved to accept BDC’s proposals and to receive future lists by email only.
Date of next Planning Committee meeting
The next Planning Committee meeting was fixed for Friday, 6th March 2009 at 4.30pm in Parish Council Office, 75 Swan Street, Sible Hedingham.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 4.55 pm.
