FOOTPATHS AND PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY

Sible Hedingham is fortunate in having a network of footpaths through the village and surrounding countryside, Each of these footpaths is monitored on a regular basis by a member of the Footpaths Advisory Group, which consists of Parish Councillors and members of the Public - see here for details.. If you encounter a problem with any footpath, please report the matter to the Clerk

A new Footpath map is now available, free of charge, from the Parish Office, or click here to view on-line.

The Parish Council works with Essex County Council's Parish Plan Partnership and has recently undertaken a programme of replacing stiles with gates, making access easier for the old or infirm. An example is shown in the before and after photographs shown below which were taken by Dr Norman Edwards.
