Current projects include:

a) Consultation with the parishioners on how they see the future of the village and where they would like to see development. Many thanks to the 70 or so who came to our workshop on the evening of Monday 12th September - this was many more than we were expecting and we are sorry if this resulted in some overcrowding round the tables - if we had known we would have had more, smaller, groups. We are in the process of collating your contributions and the results will be posted here very soon. In the meantime, if there is anything further you would like to add, please contact the Chairman and webmaster at
bosslady@gill-massey.co.uk Click here for data collected from the meeting and to join the continuing discussion

b) Help in setting up and promoting an Allotment Society. A meeting was held on Tuesday 13th September and a Society formed with around 10 founder members. A Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee were appointed. The annual subscription was set at £5. Would anyone wanting further details, please contact the Treasurer on
wrightfamily@hotmail.co.uk . The Parish Council is actively seeking land suitable for allotments and will work closely with the new society to this end. The Parish Clerk keeps a register of people wishing to rent an allotment when they become available and you may add your name by using the contact button from this website, or phoning the office on 462568

c) Traffic calming measures and Public Transport. A new committee has been formed to address these issues, and minutes will be posted on this website. The first meeting is on Wednesday 21st Spetember at 5pm in the Parish office.

d) A community transport scheme to arrange mini-bus trips - details to follow very soon

Outside of these hours, the Clerk, or individual councillors, can be contacted by email from our contact us page

We hope you enjoy browsing this site - if there is any information we have left out, any question you would like to ask, or any issue you would like to raise, please contact the Clerk by using the button at the bottom of any page, or go to the Councillors page to email an individual councillor.
