At the moment, we have a full complement of Councillors, However if you would like to serve your community, you could find it very rewarding and informative; you will get to learn lots of things you never thought you wanted to know; meet people you had never heard of before and get to know organisations you never knew existed. You will work as part of a team who are dedicated but still retain their sense of humour and enthusiasm. It isn’t for everybody, but if you are interested, please keep checking the notice boards for announcements of casual vacancies and then apply through the Clerk.
We are the first rung on the democratic ladder and we need local people to work for local issues and pass them up the ladder to those in power who can make the real decisions.
