Christmas Tree re-cycling
The Real Christmas Tree Recycling Event 2010 has had to be cancelled due to poor weather.
This event was originally scheduled for Saturday 9th January but all the collection crews will now be working throughout the weekend to catch up the
regular refuse and recycling collections. Because the weather is forecast to continue into next week, it has not been possible to reschedule the
Christmas Tree event.
If you are on wheeled bins, please either put your real Christmas tree into your green bin (cut up to fit into the bin) or leave it whole by the side of
your green bin and put out for collection on your next green bin collection day. If you are not on wheeled bins, please call the Customer Service Centre
on 01376 552525 who may be able to arrange a special collection for it on your next recycling collection day.
