What a weekend we had! Loads of children enjoying Silly Olympic games, Futsal, Bungee run, Sumo fighting, Boot-camp, Orienteering, Road running training, Face painting, and some adults playing Petanque

Railings on the Riverside Walk
Section 106 monies paid for these railings on a section of the Riverside Walk. They were designed by artist/blacksmiths Thrussell and Thrussell who are based in Cornwall but have long-standing links to our Village.
Car Park
In October 2010, ownership of the Car park behind the Co-op store passed from Braintree District Council to Sible Hedingham Parish Council. Had it been left in BDC ownership, parking charges would have been applied. Your Parish Council has a firm commitment to free parking in the village, hence the decision to take up BDC's offer of transfer of ownership. The Parish Council will now be responsible for upkeep, maintenance, lighting, and insurance - all of which will be met from the Precept.
