In 2007 yellow and blue balloons were sold to raise money for a memorial for the three boys from Hedingham School - Danny Archer, Chris Jolley and Richard Warren - who died so tragically in a car crash in May 2007. The young people have been determined to keep alive the memory of their friends and repeated the sale of balloons in 2008 and 2009. Last year, the young people chose to donate the money raised to a Cancer charity, as a young colleague of theirs has been recently diagnosed with the disease. This year the money will go to another good cause.
